Week of Sunday, March 23 through Saturday, March 29:

East Lowell Street at SR 33 (Lakeland Hills Boulevard) will be closed nightly between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday night, March 24 through Monday night, March 31. The road closure is necessary as crews install pipe beneath the roadway. Northbound motorists on Lakeland Hills Boulevard wanting to turn right onto East Lowell Street will be detoured at Lakehurst Street to Gilmore Avenue to East Lowell Street. 

Motorists on East Lowell Street headed to Lakeland Hills Boulevard will be detoured one block using Gilmore Avenue to Lakehurst Street.

The contractor will be working off the roadway with no lane closures.

Week of Sunday, March 23 to Saturday, March 29:

This week crews will continue earthwork and placing bridge deck. Countyline Road remains closed at the Peace River. Motorists should follow the posted detours.

Eastbound: Head north or south on US 17 to Hardee Street and east on Hardee Street to Lake Branch Road. Head southeast on Lake Branch Road to Platt Road and head north back to County Line Road.

Westbound: Head east or west on County Line Road to Platt Road. Head south on Platt Road to Lake Branch Road and head west to Hardee Street. Turn left (west) on Hardee Street to US 17. Turn right (north) on US 17 back to County Line Road.

Week of Sunday, March 23 through Saturday, March 29:

This week crews will work on punch list items. Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures and daytime shoulder closures. Use caution and be prepared to merge.

Week of Sunday, March 23 through Saturday, March 29:

Crews will be taking delivery of materials, working on drainage, completing the new bridge finishing, and demolishing the old bridge. Expect intermittent lane closures throughout the project from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 24, through Friday, March 28, 2025. Use caution and be prepared to merge or stop.

Week of Sunday, March 23 through Saturday, March 29:

The new pedestrian signal is scheduled to be activated in the early morning hours of Monday, March 24, 2025. Motorists should be prepared to stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk. Information on how to use the Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons is included under project videos.

This week crews will work on the driveway in front of Fantasy of Flight during the day and pave at night. Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures with flaggers directing traffic. Use caution and be prepared to merge or stop.

Week of Sunday, March 23 through Saturday, March 30:

• The right-turn slip lane from Pyramid Parkway onto northbound US 98 will remain closed while crews make drainage improvements and reconstruct the turn lane. During the closure, motorists will still be able to turn right, left or continue straight from Pyramid Parkway.
• Motorists can expect nighttime/overnight lane closures starting on Sunday, March 23 through Thursday night, March 27 as pipe crews make drainage repairs, and seal and line the pipes. Use caution and be prepared to merge.
• Crews continue working behind the barrier wall installing storm pipe and curbing between Griffin Road and Pyramid Parkway during the day. Use caution and watch for workers moving in and out of the work zone.

The contractor will be working off the roadway with no planned lane closures. Use caution and watch for workers close to the road.

Week of Sunday, March 23 to Saturday, March 29, 2025:

A new stop sign will be placed at the intersection of Lily Avenue and North 12th Street/Lee Jackson Highway making the intersection a four-way stop with Lily Avenue, North 12th Street, East Stuart Avenue and Lee Jackson Highway on Monday, March 24, 2025. Motorists heading east over the bridge on Lily Avenue must stop at the new stop sign before proceeding. Use extreme caution while all motorists get used to the new traffic pattern.

This week crews will install new drainage and sidewalk. Expect lane closures with flaggers directing traffic. Use caution and be prepared to stop.

Week of Sunday, March 23 through Saturday, March 29:

CSX is scheduled to close the railroad crossing just east of US 27 for a week, Monday, March 24 through Saturday, March 29 to make repairs to the railroad tracks. Motorists should follow the posted detour.

This week crews will resume paving from North Van Fleet Drive to C Wilson Ranch Road during the day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, March 24 through Friday, March 28. Expect daytime lane closures and be prepared to merge.

Crews will continue milling and resurfacing Mondays through Fridays starting at 7 a.m. and may continue resurfacing until dark. Expect daytime lane closures and be prepared to merge or stop.
