This week crews will be working at the Kathleen Road Ramps. Expect westbound I-4 on-ramp closure at Kathleen Road (Exit 31) daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. this week. Motorists wanting to enter I-4 westbound should continue northbound on Kathleen Road past the closed ramp. Turn east on Griffin Road to U.S. 98, head north on U.S. 98 and follow it to the I-4 westbound on-ramp at U.S. 98 (Exit 32)

The U.S. 98 on and off ramps to I-4 will be closed at night/overnight starting at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 while crews install a new traffic signal controller in the cabinet. During this time, the signals at the ramps on U.S. 98 will intermittently blackout then go into flash mode while crews complete the wiring, reconnect the signals and connect the pedestrian signals. The work is anticipated to be completed within four hours, barring any unforeseen conditions. Motorists wanting to access I-4 from U.S. 98 or U.S. 98 from I-4 should use the following detours:
- I-4 motorists (both east and westbound) wanting to exit at U.S. 98 will need to exit at Kathleen Road, head north on Kathleen Road to Griffin Road, and turn right to head east to U.S. 98.
- U.S. 98 motorists (both north and southbound) wanting to enter I-4 will need to enter I-4 at Kathleen Road by heading west on Griffin Road, turning left to head south on Kathleen Road to enter I-4.

The trail is now closed at the north trial head just north of SR 60 through the end of the trail on the south side of SR 60. The north end of the trail remains open.

This week, crews will continue grading and pouring concrete driveways and sidewalk, installing light pole bases and conduit for pedestrian signal poles along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard. City of Lakeland crews will continue tying-in new water lines and removing old lines throughout the project.
- Traffic impacts: One lane in each direction will remain open for most of the project duration. Drivers should use caution, be prepared to merge or stop, and allow extra travel time.
- Speed limit: Reduced to 35 MPH within the construction zone.
