After more than a year of underground work—including installing new drainage, water, and sewer systems, and constructing new roadway—it’s finally time to move traffic on S.R. 33 (Lakeland Hills Boulevard) from the west side of the roadway onto the newly built lanes on the east side of the roadway so crews can begin removing the old infrastructure and build the new southbound lanes.
The traffic shift will take place in two phases (weather permitting):
📍 Phase 1: East Bella Vista Street to Griffin Road — July 9
📍 Phase 2: Parkview Place to East Bella Vista Street — Late July/Early August
