Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

This week workers will continue installing drainage along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard during the day and night.

• Watch for nighttime/overnight lane closures along Lakeland Hills Boulevard from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. as crews continue to extend drainage pipes across the travel lanes. Motorists should use caution, watch for flaggers directing traffic and be prepared to stop.
• Traffic remains in one lane in each direction but is now shifted to the west side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard so crews can continue underground drainage and utility work behind the barrels.
• Traffic will remain in one lane in each direction for most of the duration of construction.
• The speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph during construction.
• Use caution, be prepared to merge, and plan for delays.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

The contractor will be working off the roadway with no lane closures.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

This week crews will continue earthwork, drainage, bridge substructure and superstructure elements. Countyline Road remains closed at the Peace River. Motorists should follow the posted detours.

Eastbound: Head north or south on US 17 to Hardee Street and east on Hardee Street to Lake Branch Road. Head southeast on Lake Branch Road to Platt Road and head north back to County Line Road.

Westbound: Head east or west on County Line Road to Platt Road. Head south on Platt Road to Lake Branch Road and head west to Hardee Street. Turn left (west) on Hardee Street to US 17. Turn right (north) on US 17 back to County Line Road.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

Crews will be installing light poles, finishing embankment on the north side of the project for access roads, working on drainage, curb, and sidewalk. Expect intermittent lane closures throughout the project from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18. Use caution and be prepared to merge or stop.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

This week crews will work on signals and lighting.

• The new pedestrian signal is now active. Motorists should be prepared to stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk. Use caution while pedestrians and motorists get used to the new traffic pattern.  
• Watch for nighttime/overnight lane closures for lighting installation. Use caution and be prepared to merge or stop.
• Watch for daytime shoulder closures for signal work. Use caution and watch for workers close to the road.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

This week the contractor will continue nighttime/overnight full depth paving. Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures with flaggers directing traffic. Use caution and be prepared to stop.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

This week crews are laying sod on the shoulders. Watch for daytime shoulder closures with workers close to the road.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

• The right-turn slip lane from Pyramid Parkway onto northbound US 98 will remain closed while crews make drainage improvements and reconstruct the turn lane. During the closure, motorists will still be able to turn right, left or continue straight from Pyramid Parkway.
• Expect nightly lane closures north and southbound as crews work on drainage improvements. Use caution and be prepared to merge.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures for milling and resurfacing, Sunday, April 13 through Thursday, April 17. Crews are also expected to remove the barrier wall west of Combee Road on Tuesday night, April 15. Use caution and be prepared to merge.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

Crews will be paving the final layer of asphalt. Watch for nighttime/overnight lane closures both east and westbound Wednesday, April 16 through, Friday, April 18. Use caution and be prepared to merge.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

• Summit Avenue will be closed at Lee Jackson Highway while crews install pipe across the roadway Monday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 15. Motorists should follow the posted detour using Stuart Avenue to North 13th Street back to Summit Avenue.
• A new stop sign is in place at the intersection of Lily Avenue and North 12th Street/Lee Jackson Highway making the intersection a four-way stop with Lily Avenue, North 12th Street, East Stuart Avenue and Lee Jackson Highway. Motorists heading east over the bridge on Lily Avenue must stop at the new stop sign now as the intersection has become a four-way stop. Use extreme caution while all motorists get used to the new traffic pattern.

Expect daytime lane closures as crews place pavement markings. Use caution and be prepared to stop.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

This week crews will continue replacing guardrail from North Van Fleet Drive to C Wilson Ranch Road. Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures Monday through Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.  Use caution and be prepared to merge.

Week of Sunday, April 13 through Saturday, April 19:

This week the contractor will continue milling and paving and will reconstruct the intersection at US 17 and CR 640/Homeland Garfield Road. This week crews will continue milling and resurfacing both northbound and southbound US 17 from 7 a.m. until dark, Monday, April 14 through Friday, April 18. Expect daytime lane closures and be prepared to merge or stop.
