This week crews will continue installing sod, finish up the roadway and working on final items. Countyline Road remains closed at the Peace River through Friday, October 24 when crews anticipate being able to open the new bridge. Until then, motorists should follow the posted detours.

Eastbound: Head north or south on US 17 to Hardee Street and east on Hardee Street to Lake Branch Road. Head southeast on Lake Branch Road to Platt Road and head north back to County Line Road.

Westbound: Head east or west on County Line Road to Platt Road. Head south on Platt Road to Lake Branch Road and head west to Hardee Street. Turn left (west) on Hardee Street to US 17. Turn right (north) on US 17 back to County Line Road.

Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21 

The eastbound I-4 exit ramp from I-4 to Kathleen Road (Exit #31) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21 for removal of materials. Eastbound motorists should travel to the next exit (Exit #32) Florida Avenue and head south to U.S. 92 (Memorial Boulevard), turn right back to Kathleen Road.

Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24, 2025

The westbound I-4 entrance ramp from Kathleen Road (Exit #31) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24, 2025.

Northbound motorists on Kathleen Road will be detoured to the eastbound I-4 on ramp where they will travel eastbound to the next exit at US 98 (Exit #32) and re-enter the interstate westbound.

Southbound motorists on Kathleen Road will be detoured east on Griffin Road to US 98, turn left (north) on US 98 to enter I-4 westbound at US 98 (Exit #32).
