Project Details
About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is conducting a Regional Analysis for proposed safety and operational improvements on US 27 from SR 29 (Glades County) SR 60 (Polk County). Building on the findings of the Highlands County Feasibility Study, the US 27 Regional analysis will identify operational and safety improvements addressing key needs along US 27 such as network resilience, freight movement, and safety of all users. The improvements will take into consideration the community vision and address the competing roadway demand between pedestrians, trucks, and cars.
