The Florida Department of Transportation began a resurfacing project on US 92 (East Memorial Boulevard), from Schalamar Creek Drive to west of SR 570 (Polk Parkway), on January 6, 2025. This pavement only project includes milling and resurfacing of the roadway. Lane closures are currently restricted to the nighttime hours of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
