About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) a safety resurfacing project to improve safety and rideability of US 27 from north of Cypress Gardens Boulevard to north of Kokomo Road in the Town of Lake Hamilton, Florida in November 2024. Project improvements included:
- Resurfacing US 27 and connecting side street entrances
- Adding a new signal and improving the turn radius at Kokomo Road
- Adding high-visibility crosswalks at Crump Road/West Main Street and at Kokomo Road
- Replacing existing streetlight fixtures with LED light fixtures
