About
The proposed project consists of constructing a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of SR 37 and Pinecrest Road, with signing, pavement markings, crosswalks (future), and landscaping; and removing the existing mast arm traffic signals. The existing open swale drainage system will be modified to accommodate the roundabout and to correct drainage that is currently deficient; two 36-inch cross drains and one 24-inch cross drain have been analyzed for structural sufficiency.
The roundabout with an Inscribed Circle Diameter (overall outside diameter) of up to 140 feet, a central island, a 20-feet-wide circulating lane and will be designed for future sidewalk that will extend to the roadway (shoulders/bike lanes).
