444807-3 Business US 41 Traffic Operations Improvement Project
Project Details
About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is improving US 41 Business (9th Street W) in Manatee County. In order to improve mobility and reduce congestion along Business US 41, the proposed improvement will restrict northbound left-turn movements at the intersection of US 41 Business (9th Street W) and Manatee Avenue W. This will also allow for the extension of the southbound left turn lane at the intersection of US 41 Business (9th Street W) and 6th Avenue W.
Improvements to US 41 Business (9th Street W) from 6th Avenue W to Manatee Avenue W in Manatee County will begin on December 16, 2024. The improvements consist of milling and resurfacing, drainage upgrades, modified left turn lanes, signalization, lighting, and signing and pavement markings. Single-lane closures will occur throughout the project through completion. Project cost is $1.3 million. The project limits cover approximately 0.07 miles and the estimated project cost is $1.3 million.
