Project Description

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, and Manatee County Public Works Department, are partnering to evaluate the realignment of the intersection of SR 62 at US 301 in Manatee County. The goals of the project are to enhance safety conditions, mobility, and to improve local transportation network connectivity. Manatee County is administering the design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction for this project.

Announcement of SEIR Acceptance

The State Environmental Impact Report for the State Road 62 at US 301 Realignment has been granted acceptance by FDOT.

This project is now approved to move to the next phase of project development.
