State Road 25 (US 27) from Shoreline Drive to Davis and Gaines Road and State Road 25 (US 27) from North of Tower Street to South of Tower Street: Construction project: Crews began work on November 20, 2024, to reconstruct rigid pavement on State Road 25 (US 27) from north of Tower Street to south of Tower Street. Additionally, milling and resurfacing were completed on US 27 from Shoreline Drive to Davis and Gaines Road.
- Crews will perform demolition, tree removal, and curb removal to prepare the area for the next phase. Temporary asphalt will be installed in the median to allow for future lane shifts. Nightly lane closures will take place between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on the northbound and southbound inside lanes of State Road 25 (US 27) at the intersection of Dal Hall Boulevard and Tower Road.
- Intermittent lane closures may occur outside the restricted areas of the signalized intersections on State Road 25 (US 27).
- Motorists should use caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment in the construction zone.
Anticipated completion mid-2026.
