The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is designing plans for the segment of SR 37 (S. Florida Avenue) from Imperial Boulevard to north of Glendale Street in Polk County. Project improvements include milling and resurfacing the roadway; the installation of raised medians between John Church Lane/Hillsboro Street and Young Place, and the following proposed additional minor improvements: curb ramp upgrades to bring them into compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA); sidewalk repair; drainage improvements.
