The Florida Department of Transportation is nearing the completion of pedestrian safety improvements along US 41 from east of SR 84/Davis Boulevard to Courthouse Shadows. The improvements include adding mid-block crossings with Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons, milling and resurfacing, and sidewalk within the project limits. The project area is identified on the project location map below. The construction will take place Sunday through Friday during daytime and nighttime/overnight hours, weather permitting. Lane closures will occur on US 41 during nighttime/ overnight hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Beginning the week of April 24, 2023, crews will turn on 3 Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons on US 41 at the following locations:

• West of Spruce Street
• East of Pelton Avenue
• East of Andrew Drive
