Project Details
About
A Florida Department of Transportation resurfacing project on Harden Boulevard, from south of Beaker Road to Forest Park Street, began in late-May 2024. the project, which is mainly roadway resurfacing, includes the following improvements:
- Milling out and removing the old asphalt and paving new asphalt
- Improving accessibility at curb ramps that do not currently meet ADA requirements
- Improving drainage and reconstructing the crosswalk at Oakbridge Boulevard East
- Removing the delineators at the northbound right turn lane from Harden Boulevard to the entrance to Lakeland Christian School (Forest Park Street)
- Adding curb on the north side of Forest Park Street to improve visibility of the end of the right turn lane
Motorists can expect nighttime/overnight lane closures from 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. throughout the project duration.
