About
Project Description
The Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) contractor, Sacyr Construction widen SR 82 from Alabama Road to the Lee/Hendry County Line from an existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided highway.
Project Improvements
- 6.5- foot paved shoulders
- Bike lanes
- 5-foot sidewalk on the north side and a 10-foot shared-use path on the south side
- Grass median and LED lighting throughout this segment
Public Involvement
The Florida Department of Transportation held an open house about the road improvements on SR 82 from Alabama Road to the Lee/Hendry County Line in Lee County.
