BARTOW, Fla. – Motorists traveling on US 17 from Spirit Lake Road to Bomber Road should expect the following daytime and nighttime/overnight lane closures during the week of Sunday, July 23 through Saturday, July 29 as part of the ongoing construction work in the area.

·       Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 24, through Friday, July 28.

·       Nighttime/overnight southbound lane closures from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27.

·        Use caution and be prepared to merge.

The lane closures are part of an FDOT project which includes reconstructing the intersection of US 17 and Spirit Lake Road with concrete, milling and resurfacing, adding lighting, upgrading signal equipment, and relocating utilities.
