Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival - Parade and 5K Run 

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – Motorists should expect SR 865 over the Matanzas Pass Bridge to be closed on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9 a.m. through 12 p.m. for the annual Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival. Lee County Sheriff’s Department will be on-site for traffic control.

Motorists should expect to use the posted detour to access Fort Myers Beach during the bridge closure and use caution near the area as there will be an increase in foot traffic for the event.
