Public Meeting for US 41 (SR 45) PD&E Study

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to a public meeting for the US 41 (SR 45) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study at Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Lee County.
This study will evaluate the capacity and safety of the US 41 (SR 45) at Six Mile Cypress Parkway intersection. Project benefits could include: improvements to pedestrian, bicyclist, and vehicular safety, as well as reconfiguring the US 41 (SR 45) at Six Mile Cypress Parkway intersection for capacity improvements.
The Public Kickoff Meeting is being conducted to present information about the proposed project and provide an opportunity for the public to express their views about the project. The information presented during either format will be the same and all attendees will have the opportunity to comment.

While comments about the project are accepted at any time, they must be received or postmarked by March 14, 2025, to be included in the formal meeting record. All comments are weighted equally. A summary of the meeting will be available on the project webpage approximately 30 days following the close of the comment period.
