FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has revised the schedule for full nighttime bridge closures. For the safety of motorists and construction crews, the bridge will now be completely closed nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., beginning Sunday night, December 15th, through Friday night, December 20th.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to complete striping activities along the bridge. Previously, FDOT had announced full nighttime bridge closures for Wednesday, Dec. 18th, Thursday, Dec. 19th and Friday, Dec. 20th, but the schedule has since been adjusted.

Please note, there may be more full nighttime bridge closures in the future as construction crews continue working on-site to complete the sidewalk and other remaining tasks.
