OCHOPEE, Fla. – A crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m. today in the northbound lanes of I-75 (Alligator Alley) near mile marker 73. To manage traffic, the Florida Department of Transportation, along with local and state law enforcement, is diverting all northbound traffic from the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas to Exit 49 (Snake Road) in Broward County. 

Drivers already near the crash site are being redirected southbound via the crossover at mile marker 72.
