OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. –Florida Highway Patrol has reported a fatal crash on US-98 south of NW 176th Avenue. Northbound and Southbound lanes are closed and may remain closed for up to 4 to 8 hours depending on the length of the investigation and how long it takes to clear the area.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect significant delays of up to 60 minutes. Please plan travel accordingly and avoid the area if possible. Traffic is being directed by law enforcement while the investigation and clearance operations continue.
