MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – Contractors for the Florida Department of Transportation will begin reconstruction of Del Webb Boulevard at SR 70 on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 during daytime hours. The temporary closure will be in effect for 45 days, weather permitting. During this time, no traffic entering or exiting is allowed while the existing roadway will be under construction. Motorists should use caution in the area and follow the provided detour route provided to Del Webb’s southern entrance off Masters Avenue.
