NAPLES, Fla. – During the nighttime/overnight hours on Sunday, September 22, motorists should expect CR 951 (Collier Boulevard) to be FULLY CLOSED to through traffic for crews to remove a large overhead sign structure that spans the roadway.  From 9:30 p.m. on Sunday night through 5:30 a.m. on Monday, September 23, motorists traveling both northbound and southbound will be required to follow the posted detour. 

Motorists should also anticipate southbound Collier Boulevard to be closed again during the overnight hours on Monday night, Sept. 23.  The posted detour is scheduled to remain in place for southbound Collier Boulevard traffic until Tuesday morning, Sept. 24 at 5:30 a.m.  Law enforcement will be onsite to assist motorists during the closures.

On Sunday night through early Monday, motorists traveling north on Collier Boulevard will be required to turn left onto Business Circle South, right to Market Street, and right again onto SR 84 (Davis Boulevard) before turning left to continue northbound on Collier Boulevard.

On both Sunday and Monday nights, through early Tuesday, motorists traveling south on Collier Boulevard will be required to turn right onto Davis Boulevard, followed by a left turn onto Market Street and then left onto Business Circle South before turning right to continue southbound on Collier Boulevard.
