MATLACHA, Fla. – There will be intermittent bridge closures on Little Pine Island Bridge on Wednesday, September 11, during daytime hours. These closures will allow crews to accept and unload deliveries of concrete bridge piles from barges to the worksite. These deliveries will start as early as 10 a.m. and will continue until all piles are unloaded.

Crews will clear traffic in between deliveries to lessen the impact on motorists traveling on and off the island.

Motorists are asked to exercise caution and reduce their speed while driving through the work zone.
