Lane Closures West Entrance to Walmart Supercenter from Colonial Boulevard Monday, May 6
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Motorists should expect lane closures at the west entrance into Walmart Supercenter from Colonial Boulevard next to Murphy USA on Monday, May 6. The southbound lanes to enter the plaza will be closed and motorists will be redirected to use the northbound lanes to enter the plaza while crews perform work. Motorists will also still be able to utilize the east entrance into the plaza from Colonial Boulevard next to Chick-Fil-A. The northbound exit lanes onto Colonial Boulevard at this intersection will be permanently CLOSED both during construction and once construction is complete. Motorists can exit the plaza via the Six Mile Cypress Parkway intersection. This work is taking place as part of the I-75 at Colonial Boulevard Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) Project. This work is estimated to be complete by summer 2024. Motorists should use caution as crews work in the roadway.
