US 92 (SR 600) Design Project
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is preparing design plans to mill and resurface US 92 (State Road 600) from west of Fish Hatchery Road to east of Reynolds Road in Polk County. The main objective of the project is milling and resurfacing the roadway, signal replacement at Fish Hatchery Road, and median improvements. Improvements also include upgrades to deficient driveways, lengthening of left turn lanes, and intersection improvements at Fish Hatchery Road.

Funding for the Design phase is included in Fiscal Year 2020 of the FDOT's Adopted Five-Year Work Program (2020-2024). Funding is included for railroads & utilities coordination in Fiscal Year 2022 and for the Construction phase in Fiscal Year 2023.
