The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One will be milling and resurfacing 2 miles
of roadway on US 41 between Edwards Drive and Magellan Drive, Manatee County. As part of this
project FDOT proposes replacing a two-way, turn lane intersection with a raised median to improve safety on
the roadway.

Expected start is fall 2023.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One held a public meeting
on Thursday, May 26, as part of the design process for this milling and resurfacing project that includes a single median modification on US 41 from Edwards Drive to Magellan Drive.
