POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An overhead communications fiber line is down in an FDOT construction zone on US 92 near the Winter Haven Airport. Both directions of traffic are temporarily closed. The City of Winter Haven Police Department is responding to the scene to assist with traffic control and a communications line repair crew is also on route. There is no information yet on how long repairs will take. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes if possible.
