BARTOW, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close all South Skyway Bridge Fishing Pier access points from the northbound rest area to the fishing pier for planned milling, resurfacing, and additional roadway improvements from Sunday, November 5 starting at 9 p.m. until Friday, November 10, ending at 9 p.m.

Roadway improvements and any repair work will prevent access to the South Skyway Fishing Pier and bathrooms, and ramps to and from the pier will be closed. Motorists should be aware of construction vehicles, variable message boards, detours and other signage during the construction.
