Welcome

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to provide conceptual design and traffic engineering analysis for sidewalk enhancements along US 41 (SR 45) from 69th Avenue (Bay Drive) to 63rd Avenue West and from 53rd Avenue West to Cortez Road, in Manatee County. The primary objective of this effort is to create a continuous pedestrian corridor along US 41 (SR 45) within the City of Bradenton. The study also includes considerations for potential lighting as well as signal improvements for pedestrian safety.
