Welcome

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One began a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study in April 2017 to evaluate alternatives to widen Harborview Road from two to four lanes between Melbourne Street and I-75 in Charlotte County.

On October 14, 2019, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Office of Environmental Management (OEM) granted Location and Design Concept Acceptance for the Harborview Road (CR 776) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. This project is now eligible to move to the next phase of development, where construction plans will be prepared. Please see the November 2019 LDCA Newsletter and all other project materials in our Documents and Publications page.
