The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is partnering with Sarasota and Manatee Counties and the Sarasota-Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to discuss improvements traveling among our neighboring communities. Currently, FDOT is studying more than eight roadway improvements in the area. Public input is welcome throughout the process through small group meetings, public meetings, and a robust public involvement effort.
