FDOT District One 2022-2026 Tentative Five-Year Work Program
Welcome to the District One 2022-2026 Tentative Five-Year Work Program website!
The Florida Department of Transportation, District One, began developing the Tentative Five-Year Work Program for fiscal years 2021/2022 through 2025/2026 in the summer of 2020. Each year, staff at the District works closely with the six metropolitan and transportation planning organizations within the District, local government partners and regional entities to identify and develop priority projects. The process and partnerships stabilize the Department’s work program and help us maintain Florida’s transportation system for our residents, businesses, and visitors.
The new Tentative Five-Year Work Program includes an update of the common four years of the adopted work program (Fiscal Years 2022 through 2025) and adds the scheduling of projects for a new fifth year (Fiscal Year 2026). The work program includes highway, bridge, aviation, seaport, rail, transit, multi-use trail, pedestrian, and bicycle facilities. The work program update concludes with approval by Florida’s legislature each spring and adoption of the work program by the Secretary of Transportation prior to the new fiscal year, which begins July 1st.
